The LG GL-131SLQP is a single door refrigerator with a 92L capacity, finished in silver. Inside there is a freezer compartment at the top with its own flap, two wire shelves below it, and moulded racks in the door. A temperature control dial sits on the back wall beside the freezer.

• Keeps working when the mains power swings. A built in low voltage stabilizer covers 110v to 290v, so the fridge stays on through the dips and surges that come with unstable supply.
• Fits into a corner or under a counter. The cabinet measures 463 x 820 x 500 mm, narrow enough for a small kitchen, a bedroom, an office or a shop counter.
• Ice and frozen food without a second appliance. A freezer compartment sits at the top of the cabinet behind its own flap.
• Holds a useful weekly shop for one or two people. 96L gross and 90L net across two wire shelves, the space under them, and the door racks.
• Set the cold to what you are storing. The temperature dial is inside the cabinet, next to the freezer compartment.
• Nothing sticking out to catch on. The pocket handle is recessed into the top of the door rather than bolted onto the front.

Direct cooling is used in place of a fan, so the freezer section will need defrosting by hand from time to time.
