LG OLED83G56LA 83

The OLED83G56LA is the 83 inch model in LG's 2025 G5 OLED evo range. It's a 4K screen, so the picture is built from four times the detail of an HD set, and the panel refreshes at up to 165Hz.

Because the panel is OLED, every pixel makes its own light. There is no backlight behind it to leak, so a dark scene stays dark even when a bright object sits right beside it. Picture processing is handled by the a11 AI Processor Gen2.

• Black really is black. The OLED evo panel lights each pixel on its own, so night scenes go fully dark rather than glowing grey, across all 83 inches of 4K.
• Fast motion holds together. The panel refreshes at up to 165Hz, which keeps football and quick game action from smearing.
• Normal broadcast still looks sharp on a screen this big. The a11 AI Processor Gen2 rebuilds lower resolution video towards 4K, pixel by pixel.
• Holds up in a bright room. Brightness Booster Ultimate raises peak brightness, which LG measures at three times its OLED B5 on a 10 percent window.
• Sits almost flat against the wall. The panel is 28 mm deep, with the mount plate recessed into the back and moulded channels for the cables.
• Apps and voice search without a separate box. webOS 25 is built in, and the AI Magic remote takes spoken commands so you can say what you are looking for.

Measure the wall before you order. The panel is 1847 mm wide and 1057 mm tall, and it needs only 28 mm of clearance behind it.
