The Sigma SBI-HOOD-M60J76 is a wall mounted extractor for a 60 cm hob. The front panel is black mirror glass set at an angle rather than standing flat, and the chimney above it hides the ducting. Controls sit on the glass as touch buttons, with an LED light underneath aimed at the cooking surface.

The buttons are printed on the glass, so the whole front wipes down in one pass with a damp cloth. Nothing sticks out to collect grease.
  • You can lean over the pots without knocking your head. The angled body tilts the glass away from the hob instead of sitting flat above it.
  • Cooking smells are trapped rather than just pushed around. A charcoal filter takes the air from the extraction panel.
  • Controls stay easy to clean. Touch buttons on the glass face, with no knobs or recesses for oil to settle into.
  • You can see what is in the pan after dark. An LED light sits under the front edge and throws light down onto the hob.
  • Fits a standard kitchen run. The hood measures 60 cm across and 76 cm tall including the chimney.

The chimney covers the pipework above the hood, and the side grille is where filtered air leaves. Measure the gap between your hob and the ceiling before fitting.

The black mirror glass runs across the full front, so the hood reads as one dark panel from the front of the kitchen.
