The LG F4V5RGP2T Vivace is a front loading washer dryer combo. It takes a 10.5kg wash load and dries up to 7kg, so a load can go in dirty and come out dry without being moved to a separate machine. The cabinet is brushed silver with a dark glass door and a chrome ring around it.

Cycles are chosen on a single metal dial, with the full list printed on the panel: Cotton, Cotton+, Mixed Fabric, Easy Care, Silent Wash, Allergy Care, Baby Steam Care, Delicates, Hand/Wool, Sportswear, Quick 30, Duvet, Tub Clean and Download Cycle.

• One machine does the washing and the drying. 10.5kg wash capacity and 7kg drying capacity in the same drum, so laundry does not need a second machine or a line.
• Steam cycles for the things you want properly clean. Allergy Care and Baby Steam Care are marked in red on the panel as part of the steam cycle group.
• Clothes come out with less water in them. Spin can be set at 400, 800, 1000, 1200 or 1400 rpm, or switched off for delicate items.
• Set it going from your phone. Smart ThinQ with Wi-Fi is built in, shown by the ThinQ badge and the wireless icon on the display.
• Small loads do not need a full cycle. Quick 30 handles a light wash, while Duvet, Hand/Wool and Sportswear cover the harder items.
• Wash temperature is yours to choose. The panel offers cold, 20C, 30C, 60C and 95C.

Extra options on the display include Intensive, Rinse+, Pre Wash, Delay End and Add Item, which lets you put in a forgotten piece after the cycle has started.
