The SCF-450W is Sigma's single door chest freezer, holding 420 litres of frozen food in one deep cabinet. The lid lifts from the front, the controls sit on the lower right of the cabinet face, and the finish is white.
- Room to stock up in bulk. 420 litres inside, so a bulk buy of fish, chicken and meat goes in at once rather than in weekly batches.
- Daily items stay within reach. A side basket sits inside the cabinet for ice, bread or small packets, so they are not buried under the heavy stock at the bottom.
- Check it without opening the lid. The thermostat dial and two indicator lights are on the front, so you set how cold it runs and see that it is working while the lid stays shut.
- Meltwater runs out when you defrost. A drain plug is set low on the front, so water can be let out into a bowl instead of mopped from the base.
