The LG GCFB251BQCF is a chest freezer holding 246 litres. It stores frozen food in one open cabinet rather than in drawers, so bulk items like fish, meat, chicken and bread go straight in, and you stack upwards as you fill it.

Silver LG chest freezer photographed from the front corner with the lid propped open, showing a control dial and indicator light low on the front panel and a vented grille beside it
The control sits on the outside of the cabinet, so you can check the setting and the power light without lifting the lid and letting cold air out.
  • Room for a big shop or a bulk buy. 246 litres in a single chest, so a whole carton of fish or several weeks of meat goes in together.
  • Change the setting without opening the freezer. The temperature dial and indicator light are mounted on the front of the cabinet at ankle height.
  • Cold reaches food at the bottom too. LG's diagram shows a fan unit built into the lid, pushing chilled air down over the containers below.
  • Easy to load heavy items. The lid lifts across the full width of the cabinet, so you lower packs straight down instead of pushing them into a drawer.
  • Silver cabinet that wipes down. The smooth painted finish and flat lid clean up with a damp cloth.

Air moves rather than sitting still, which is what keeps the boxes at the bottom of the chest as cold as the ones near the top.
