The LG S60T replaces thin TV speakers with a three channel bar and a separate wireless subwoofer. Left, right and centre channels sit in the bar itself, so voices come from the middle of the screen while effects and music spread wider. The subwoofer handles the low end on its own.
- Dialogue stays clear during films and sport. A dedicated centre channel in the 3.1 setup carries voices, and AI Sound Pro adjusts the balance for live sport, music and action scenes.
- Bass you feel, with no cable across the room. The subwoofer connects to the bar wirelessly, so you can stand it beside the cabinet or against another wall.
- One remote for the TV and the sound. WOW Interface lets an LG TV remote control the soundbar, and WOW Orchestra combines the TV speakers with the bar for a wider soundstage.
- Film soundtracks decoded as they were mixed. Dolby Audio is built in, along with Hi-Res Audio support.
- Tune the sound from your phone. The LG Soundbar App gives you a 3-band equaliser for the bar and rear speakers.
- Play music straight from a phone. Bluetooth reaches up to 10 metres, and there is an HDMI connection plus one USB 2.0 port.
- Ready to set up out of the box. Remote, 2 AA batteries, optical cable and wall mount bracket are all in the package.
The cabinet is metal with a grille front that keeps dust off the drivers. Drivers are 3.5 inches, and the bar runs on mains power at 240 volts.
