The Sigma SIG-MW25G-B is a 25 litre countertop microwave with a grill, finished in black with a dark glass door. Reheating, defrosting and grilling are all set from the panel on the right, and the red LED display shows the clock when nothing is cooking.
- Browns food as well as heating it. Grill has its own button on the panel, with a combination setting beside it for grill and microwave together, so cheese on top of a dish can take colour instead of coming out pale.
- Room for a family dish, not only a mug. 25 litres inside, enough for a covered bowl of stew or a full dinner plate in one go.
- Frozen food thaws without guesswork. A separate Defrost button handles meat or bread from the freezer, so you are not working out times and power levels yourself.
- Everyday reheating at one press. The Auto Menu button runs preset programmes, which set the time and power for you.
- A clock and a timer on the counter. START/+30s begins cooking with a single press, and the Timer and Clock buttons share the same red LED display.
The dial marked minus and plus sets times by turning instead of repeated tapping. Small feet lift the cabinet off the worktop, and the Sigma badge sits low on the door front. It is a freestanding model that plugs in and stands on a counter.
