The Sigma SIG-MW30G-B is a countertop microwave with a 20 litre cavity and a grill, rated at 1050 watts. The front is black with a brushed metal bar handle, and everything is set from a digital keypad beside an LED display that counts the cooking time down.
- Browns food instead of only heating it. The Grill/Combi key runs the grill on its own or together with the microwave, so cheese melts and chicken takes colour.
- Six everyday foods cook at one press. The Auto Menu row is marked Popcorn, Potato, Pizza, Vegetable, Beverage and Meat, so you pick the food and not the minutes.
- Warm things gently rather than cooking them twice. Five power levels, for softening butter or reheating a sauce without it boiling over.
- Frozen food gets its own cycle. A defrost key sits in the function row, so meat and bread thaw instead of starting to cook at full power.
The cooking timer runs up to 35 minutes, and the Start key adds 30 seconds at a time for food that needs a little longer. The keypad also carries Memory and My Plate buttons, and a Clock/Timer key that puts the time of day on the display.
