Sigma SWM-TT70 7 kg Big Lid

The Sigma SWM-TT70 is a twin tub washing machine. The tub on the left washes, the tub on the right spins, and each side has its own lid. You move the load across by hand when the wash is done, so the next load can be washing while the first one spins.

The wash tub takes 7kg. The body is white, the top panel and base are black, and three dials on the panel set the timing.

• Wash one load while the last one spins. The two tubs work separately, each with its own lid and timer, so the machine keeps moving instead of standing idle between stages.
• Room for 7kg in one go. Sigma rates the wash tub at 7kg with a big drum, so a full basket goes in together rather than in two runs.
• Clothes come out ready for the line. The spin lid is marked Air Dry, and Sigma lists a Spin Shower on this model, so the load is rinsed and wrung out before it goes outside.
• Bulky items drop straight in. Both tubs sit under wide lids, so blankets and work clothes go in without being forced through a narrow opening.
• Scrub collars and cuffs at the machine. Sigma lists a wash board on the SWM-TT70, a ribbed surface for working at marks by hand before the wash.
• You decide how long it runs. Three dials handle wash time and spin time, with no menus or programmes to learn.
