The LG FA211RMA is a free standing gas cooker: four burners on top, a gas oven with a grill below. The front panel and hob are stainless steel, the oven door is black glass, and a glass lid folds down over the burners when you are finished cooking.
The rings are not all one size, so a small saucepan and a large stew pot each get one that suits them. The pan supports come off in two pieces for washing.
Four pots on the go at once. Four gas burners, each with its own knob, so soup, rice, stew and a kettle share the hob.
The gas cuts off if a flame blows out. The flame failure device stops the supply when a burner goes out, so nothing leaks after a pot boils over.
Roast a whole chicken without turning it. The rotisserie spit and forks mount inside the oven, driven by the panel switch marked Rotti.
Check the food without letting the heat out. A glass window in the door and a lamp inside, on its own switch, show you the tray with the door shut.
Bake or grill from the same dial. One knob moves the oven between Oven and Grill and is marked in degrees from 150, with a timer dial beside it.
The door glass lifts out for cleaning. Splashes on the inside of the glass can be wiped directly rather than worked at through the gap.
The door drops down rather than swinging aside, so a hot tray slides straight out onto it. Runners are pressed into both side walls, so a tray and a rack go in together.
Six knobs sit across the front: four for the burners, one for the oven and grill, one timer. The two rocker switches next to them work the rotisserie motor and the oven lamp.
The labels are printed on the panel itself, so anyone in the kitchen can find the grill setting or the oven light without being shown.
